CLIENT
Nacka kommun

This project explores a comprehensive design concept for the metro entrances in Sickla, Järla, and Nacka. The aim is to establish a cohesive identity that enhances urban character, safety, and wayfinding, in alignment with Nacka Municipality’s vision Naturban.

The metro extension to Nacka includes three new stations scheduled for completion in 2030. As the surrounding urban development will be carried out in phases, the project addresses the need for flexible and temporary design strategies that can adapt over time.

For each station, two scenarios have been developed and visualized through both still imagery and film:

  • a base scenario, presenting the metro entrances without temporary interventions

  • a temporary scenario, illustrating how the sites can be activated through interim environments and design elements while awaiting full urban development

The project was developed through an AI-based workflow in close collaboration with Nacka Municipality. It contributes to a distinctive and coherent urban development strategy, where the metro system is integrated as a natural part of the city’s identity and public realm. communicate.
